itcher is an entertainment discovery app that generates recommendations of movies, TV Shows, music, books and games, personalized to each user's taste. itcher captures the excitement of discovering new entertainment by allowing users to browse millions of titles. Once users have rated 5 titles in a single category, itcher will get to work looking for new recommendations in that category.

No, you're free to take a peek at our library without signing up. However, you won't be able to get personalized recommendations until you create an account, and begin to rate titles.

Can I import my lists and ratings from IMDb?

Yes...we make it easy to import both your IMDb lists and ratings directly into itcher. In order to do this, you will need to download CSV files from IMDb, and then upload them from your computer into the itcher web app.
For lists: Go to IMDb and choose "Your Lists" and then select a list. Click "Export this List" at the bottom of the list; Save the CSV file to your computer. Then, log-in to the itcher website (this won't work on the Android/iOS app) and click the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner, and select 'My lists and profile' and click 'import List' button at the bottom of the list page and upload your CSV file.
For ratings: Go to IMDb, choose "Your Ratings", then click "Export" from the menu; Save CSV file to your computer. Then, log-in to the itcher website (this won't work on the Android/iOS app) and click the menu in the upper right-hand corner, and select "My lists and profile" and click "Import Ratings" button in the upper right corner of the page and upload your CSV file.
While you can only import IMDb ratings and lists through our website, they will be added to your profile and therefore accessible across all our platforms (Android, iOS, web, Alexa, Google Assistant).

You can link your existing itcher account to Alexa and/or Google Assistant, or you can create a new account on the fly - within either of these platforms - if you don't already have one.
For Google Home, say "OK Google, Talk to itcher." It will then ask you to link your account. Once linked, you can ask itcher to "recommend a movie", for example. It will then ask you for other specific criteria.
For Alexa, say "Alexa, talk to itcher." It will then ask you to link your account. Once linked, you can tell itcher to "recommend a TV show", for example. It will then ask you for other specific criteria.
The recommendations are going to be just as good as the ones you receive on our web and Android/iOS apps.

We pride ourselves on a complete catalogue of current and older titles. If you are unable to find a specific title using our search and/or filter features, please do let us know and we will do our best to get this added to our library. Send us an email at [emailprotected].

How can I change my password or my email address?

You can edit all your personal details, including password and email address, within your profile page. Click the menu icon and choose 'Settings' within the respective menu. You will then find buttons to edit both your email and your password, unless you registered with Facebook, Twitter or Google in which case it is then not possible to amend these.

Yes, you can edit your itcher alerts through the side menu of the Android/iOS app ("Notification settings").

If you're experiencing difficulties using the app, you can report a problem by clicking on the menu and selecting "Settings". Then click "Report a problem" and complete the details. Hit send and we'll get to work on fixing any issues immediately. Alternatively, you can always send us an email at [emailprotected].

We love hearing from itcher users. Click the menu icon and choose 'Send feedback' within the respective menu, complete the details, and hit send. Alternatively, you can always send us an email at [emailprotected].

We can't add individual titles since itcher's database is automatically fed by pre-selected, established sources. However, you can contact the editors of itcher Magazine to let them know about your title (and they might just feature you in an li) - just fill in this form.
