Cris here.
We’ve talked a lot about the “soup night” we had with our church small group a while back. We brought four different soups and all were knock-it-out-of-the-park good. THIS was one of those soups (the other three were Loaded Potato Soup, Broccoli Cheese Soup and Taco Soup (Recipe Coming Soon) ). We found this recipe in Gooseberry Patch’s Slow Cooker Fall Favorites.

We are big Supreme Pizza fans, so we served it up with all the “toppings” but you could definitely add or remove (ahem… I’m looking at you Aunt Lou) what works for your family. We served this up with my mom’s Easy Cheesy Garlic Breadand it was just perfect.

Crock Pot Recommendations
Since this recipe has a browning step, we love to use one of our stove top slow cooker models to brown the sausage in our crock and then transfer to the cooking unit– keeping it a true, one-pot dish. We also love our automatic stirring crock pot for most of our soups because it keeps those flavors all stirred up during cooking. However, any 5 to 6 qt slow cooker should work just fine for this recipe.
